How to Register to Google and Add a Sitemap

After making a blog, we need to learn how to register to Google and add a site map. In order to make our site more quickly recognize by Google, we need to register. Here are the step to register our site to Google:
1. Go to http://google.com/webmasters
2. Select submit your content in Google (click learn more)
3. Select submit a URL for inclusion in Google's index
4. Fill in your URL, comments, and enter the letter that is visible on the screen. After that click add URL

If you do it correctly, then we can see "Google Informastion for Webmasters": Thank you. Your site URL has been successfully added to our list of URLs to crawl. Then click Google Webmaster Tool. We will be brought to the dashboard, type your URL address then click add site.

- After that you need to verify your site.
- Choose verification method, select add a meta tag.
- Copy the meta tag code (ctrl +C)
- Go to www.blogger.com, enter your username and password (go to your blog)
- Go to layout, edit HTML
- Paste (ctrl + V) the meta tag code between the first head and the last head.
- Don't forget to click save template
- Then we go back to Google Webmaster Tools, click verify
- Finish

Add a sitemap:
1. Go to https:// www.google.com/webmasters.tools/dashboard
2. We can see site information, sitemap, verified?
If there are check mark, that means the site have been verified.
Now we add sitemap by click the word Add
3. Choose add general web sitemap
4. Fill the URL with atom.xml
5, Click add general web sitemap

If you want to know when the last time the Googlebot come to your site, go to https: / / www.google.com / webmasters / tools / sitestatus .Type in your url address and then click next.
